Christmas in January

Oh, I was so pitifully behind on my Christmas cards this year, that I am already working on next year's!  I had coloured this adorable Something For You Tilda just before Christmas but simply ran out of time to do anything with her.  Now I have one card done, lots to go :)  I might have to try a different colour next time though... as much as I love red, I've been using it a bit too much lately :)

My apologies for the dark photos.  I wanted to take these during daylight yesterday, but was hit with a migraine and didn't get them done until after dark, which sure comes early here!

I've kept this card relatively flat for mailing.  Those are the ones I'll need first, after all :)  The flowers are a MFT die-namic, Flower & Leaf Trio.  I've also added a bit of dazzling diamonds around Tilda as well as the matching sentiment for a touch of sparkle.  The sentiment is from CC Designs 'Merry & Bright' sentiment set.

challenges:
Christmas Challenges - sketch + die cuts or punches (used both!)
Magnolia Down Under - Anything Goes
Just Magnolia - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - Something New (New stamp)
Simply Magnolia - Celebrate (Christmas lol)

Now I need to run a munchkin to school!  Thanks so much for stopping by my blog!

Hugs,
     Christine

HEY!! I'm so glad you could join in on our challenge neighbor!! I'm with you on being late on my xmas cards this year. I finally gave up so I'm hoping to get a chance to start them early too. Cuz I also have some xmas Maggie's that were untouched. GASP! That's just not right! LOL! I love your coloring!! I also like how you kept it a bit simpler. I have a hard time with that. Great start on your next Christmas cards!! Again thanks for joining us at MDUC! Hugs!
